Salvation Army Bell Ringers are needed in the Parsons area. Funds raised in Labette County will be administered to families and individuals year round through the Labette county Emergency Assistance Center.  The Slow Air of Ewan Macpherson, by Thomas Fox Averill. This is the final book discussion of the year, about man who was brought from Scotland as an infant, to Glasgow, Kansas. Our Presenter, Thomas Prasch is a professor and the chair of the history department at Washburn University. Mr. Prasch is a favorite presenter for our book discussions.
